FUEL & LUBRICANTS
Here at Cambridge Airport we store and supply a wide range of aviation fuels and lubricating products, so you “The Customer” can have a greater choice and we can meet the service requirements for your aviation needs.
JET A1+AL48
Primarily used for Jet turbine propelled aircraft. We have the capacity to store up to 330,000Ltrs in our bulk fuel installation and supply a further 63,500Ltrs from our refuelling vehicles being able to cater for a wide spectrum of civil aviation. All of our refuelling vehicles are equipped with over-wing and pressure fuel dispensing systems. The quality of our fuel is constantly monitored in accordance to CAA standard CAP 748, keeping flight safety paramount and that the quality of the product is at the highest standard to “The Customers Needs”.
We also store and supply this product not just for our commitments to our military customers but because the AL48 additive contains “Fuel systems icing inhibitor (FSII), Anti microbiological additive and Lubricity improving additive (LIA)” These additives prevent ice crystals forming in the fuel, any bacterial contamination and a reduction in engine component wear. “Ideal for our Rotorary and Fixed wing customers that are more susceptible to low temperatures and not equipped with fuel heaters when travelling at high altitudes”.
AVGAS 100LL
Used for piston engine propelled aircraft and a majority of general aviation. We have the capacity to store up to 40,000Ltrs in our purpose built avgas bulk fuel installation and the ability to supply 11,500Ltrs from specific refuelling vehicles direct to “The Customer” anywhere on the airfield at a moment’s notice. Also quality of the fuel is constantly monitored to provide you with the highest standard of service.
OILS
Also for our general aviation customers we provide an oil “Top-up” service. We store and supply a wide range of Aero shell lubricating products with grades ranging from synthetic to mineral.
Our synthetic product grades are W80, W100 and W15W-50 and mineral product grades are Straight 80 and 100
All of our lubricating products are sold in the 1Ltr bottle form or by the 25Ltr drum.
