Cambridge Airport is a designated Customs Airport but is not an approved port of entry under immigration legislation and therefore the notification requirements for international and Common Travel Area flights apply.
International and Common Travel Area flights to and from Cambridge Airport are dealt with by the UK Border Agency (UKBA) under the standard procedures for clearance of General Aviation (GA) flights. Full details of the relevant legislation and notification procedures can be found on the UKBA website.
All General Aviation Report (GAR) forms should be submitted through the Cambridge Airport Operations team airport.operations@cambridgeairport.com – the GAR form and completion details are attached.
In addition to facilitate the clearance of any non- European Economic Area Travellers on international flights to Cambridge Airport, pilots or operators of GA flights may also wish to complete the attached UKBA Clearance form MBAC/1 and submit it through the Cambridge Airport Operations team airport.operations@cambridgeairport.com
